FG Reacts As ASUU Threatens Fresh Nationwide Strike
The Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has kicked against the notice by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to embark on a fresh nationwide strike. Naija News reports that this is coming barely four months after calling off a 10-month industrial action.
Reacting in an interview with The Punch on Sunday, the Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, warned that engaging in another strike would be a disservice to students.
