IPOB Declares South-East Sit-at-home As Buhari Visits Imo
The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared Tuesday, September 13, as sit-at-home across the South-East. Naija News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to visit Imo State on the same day to commission some projects.
In a statement on Saturday, the IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful stated that the sit-at-home was in solidarity with its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who will be appearing in court on that day.
